Lip Dub: Round Two

Mrs. Hill begins preparation for Judson’s second lip dub.

Due to popular demand, Judson High School is doing a second lip dub. However, with lots more clubs and some minor changes. “Last year’s lip dup was more experimental,” spirit group facilitator Carrie Hill said. Mrs. Hill is charge of making sure the lip dub is successful. “We definitely want to make it better,” Hill said.

Lip dubs are a great way to show school spirit and engage all of the students in the school in one event that they can remember for years to come. Judson High School is known for their insane school pride and crazy pep rallies, so why not channel all of that energy into one creative video that you can watch again long after you graduate.

A lip dub is an interactive, one shot video that features students from different organizations lip synching to a selected song. This year’s lip dub will be bigger and better than before. With more practice, more experience, and a longer song, the lip dub should run more smoothly. Also, to get other clubs involved, the media classes will be filming the lip dub and The Fuel will conduct the song vote and advertise online. Any club that wants to be involved in the dubbing will be invited.

Mrs. Hill is planning on helping hand select the lip synchers from each club and teaching them the words to the songs also, making the whole shoot come out better. With this new and improved lip dub, the students of Judson can show their spirit in a way that they can remember many years after graduating.
