If you could instantly master any skill, which one would it be and why?
“Probably anything involving cars, like painting and refinishing or the mechanics of it. It’s my dad’s profession, and he always wants me to help, but I don’t find any interest, or want to get into it.”
What is one movie, song, or book that changed your life for the better?
“The Bible. I read a couple pages before bed and just soak it in and write in my journal, hoping to better myself and my faith with God. It also helps a lot with my journey in running too.”
If you could choose another country to live in, where would it be and why?
I’d probably go to Canada. Healthcare over there is amazing, and there’s a lot of runners out there, and it’s also just way better weather.”
What kind of legacy would you like to leave behind?
“I’d want to leave one that leaves a staple in my family. One that my future kids and grandkids will look back and think positive[ly] on, and hopefully lead as an example to. School-wise, I’m going for those school records.”
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
“My parents always tell me to just push forward no matter what obstacle is ahead of me, and I’ve always lived by that example. No injury, bad time at work, or any bad circumstance stops me from enjoying the next day, a new beginning everyday.”
