On January 12, 2018, Liam Neeson fans filled theaters to watch The Commuter. Over the weekend, the Commuter made $16 million dollars in sales, topping Paddington 2.

The fight never ends in this suspense filled flick that took place in the city that’s all about transportation, New York City.

Once this movie begins, you see Michael, played by Liam Neeson, starting the day with his family. What he doesn’t know yet is he is about to get fired from his job. To emphasize his routine for 10 yrs on the commuter train everyday, they show us a flashback over the years.

As Michael sits down on the train, a mysterious woman named Joanna, played by Vera Farmiga, sits down and explains to him that he must uncover the identity of a hidden passenger on the train. He would receive $75,000 dollars upfront to identify the wanted person. Joanna then said if he didn’t find the person in time, his family’s lives would be at risk.

The commute home was going to be like no other, because the pressure is on when he is on a time clock to find the person on the train who doesn’t “belong.”

The intense fight scenes that occur throughout the train and mysterious phone calls begin to occur to be aware of the time clock he is on. The pressure is on; he is up to do whatever it takes to make things right again.

This movie is action packed and anybody out there who is a strong Liam Neeson fan you won’t be disappointed. He shows his strong determined fight. This one stands out from the rest though because the jump scenes that happen as he abruptly fights the people he feels are suspects and don’t belong. If you are in search for a new Liam Neeson classic and a movie that will keep you in suspense, go out and see The Commuter.
