What is one thought that doesn’t leave your mind the entire time you’re on a baseball field?
“When I’m on the field, I am always thinking about the situation and what play can be made in each scenario. I am always aware of my surroundings, thinking two steps ahead, and expecting the ball.”
If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be and why?
“If I could change one thing about the world, I would change how long the school day is. I feel there is definitely a way to condense the school day down so that by the time we get home, the day is not already over.”
What is a moment or time that you would go back to?
“I wish I could go back to the time that it snowed here in San Antonio.”
If your life had a theme song, what would it be?
“If my life had a theme song, it would probably be “Just Keep Swimming” from Finding Nemo.”
How did you feel whenever you made varsity baseball as a freshman?
“It was an unforgettable experience to say the least. Even though I loved every last second of it, it was still nerve-racking at times. It felt like the coaches were waiting for the moment I made a mistake. However, once I settled in and gained more confidence, it was all I could have ever asked for.”
What is something you want to improve on in school your next two years of high school?
“In my next two years of high school, I want to get better at balancing my extracurricular activities and school work so that I have more free time.”
