Choir holds annual winter concert
On December 6, 2016, the Judson choir department held their annual winter concert to bring the holiday spirit to the community. Each choir showcased their talents from a wide variety of songs including “Silent Night” and “Jingle Bell Rock.”
“Overall, we did an amazing job,” junior Brian McCrary said. “And it paid off.”
One of the main events of the program was the performance of “Noel” by the combined choirs. They include Nova, Concert Women, the Brothers’ Ensemble, the Ladies A Cappella, Chorale and Cantate.
“I felt like we did really great and better than we thought we were going to do,” junior Jazebelle Martinez.
This is the first winter concert for new choir teacher, Ms. Tiffany Cristo, who took over the program when Ms. Sherrill retired last year.
“She makes sure we strive to be the best at our abilities,” McCrary said.
This concert begins the fine arts concert season. Orchestra will perform on December 8, while the band performs their holiday concert on December 13.
